Untamed Indie seeks to help independent filmmakers avoid the financial disaster of the music industry; an industry where artists might receive $.003 per stream of their hard earned craft. Untamed Indie says, “F that!” As our collection grows, independent filmmakers will be provided the opportunity to make their indie films watchable for a fee, currently set between 99 cents and $3.99 with about 70% of the revenue after credit card fees (about 3%) going to the indie filmmaker. Why doesn’t 100% go to filmmakers? We have to cover software transaction costs (that's fair as those ecommerce app developers worked hard and should be fairly paid) and storage & server fees (fair as well) in order to cover the monthly nut.

Untamed Indie is free for both filmmakers and film connoisseurs. As this community seeks to support filmmakers in a world less than friendly to those operating independently, filmmakers have the option to charge up to $3.99 for a film view. 70% or so of the total collected goes to the filmmaker, 15% or so goes to software use transaction fees, 2-3% goes to credit card fees, and about 15% goes to Untamed Indie to cover our ongoing costs (as they are whopping).
