Untamed Indie seeks to help independent filmmakers avoid the financial disaster of the music industry; an industry where artists might receive $.003 per stream of their hard earned craft. Untamed Indie says, “No thank you.” As our movie collection grows, independent filmmakers will be provided the opportunity to make their indie films watchable for a fee, currently set at $4.99 with about 65% of the revenue after credit card fees going to the indie filmmaker. Why doesn’t 100% go to filmmakers? We have to cover software transaction costs (that's fair as those ecommerce app developers worked hard and should be fairly paid) and storage & server fees (fair as well) in order to cover the monthly nut.

Joining Untamed Indie is free. Our goal is to support indie filmmakers, contributors, and film fans. If you rent a Movie Maker's movie you pay a rental fee, 65% of which goes to the Movie Maker. This is about supporting indies.

Our goal is to enable filmmakers to collaborate and engage with each other. And we seek to support these filmmakers. So join us as a film connoisseur! Watch, promote, share, and rate our films.

If you’re a filmmaker, Untamed Indie give you access to peers, collaboration opportunities, skills, and job opportunities. You, the independent filmmaker run the show; you connect, you network, you post paid and unpaid job openings, you post if you’re available for collaboration or hire. You share your films with your peers. And if you’re a film connoisseur, Untamed Indie offers you a preview into undiscovered films as you witness the growth and trajectory of filmmaker careers.
